You must be dreaming.

“These dreams go on when I close my eyes

Every second of the night I live another life

These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside

Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away.”

Can you imagine life without dreams? Whether when you are sleeping, daydreaming or a combination of the two, life without the opportunity to dream would be boring.

Whereas I would like to say I remember my dreams, I don’t. My kids tend to, and they are vivid; sometimes when they are telling me what happened, I think, “How do they remember all of the details when I can’t remember a darn thing?”

There are some dreams I remember from when I was a kid, but since it was so long ago, and I have to assume my memory is in tact, I won’t bother with the details. Let’s just say, they were weird…not weird like I would be embarrassed to tell them, just weird.(Okay fine, one was about a two-headed G.I. Joe and it lived in the water. Sue me, it was weird—-and the weirdest part, that’e one of a few dreams I remember!)

I believe for many of us 2020 was a nightmare. If you are reading this, you made it through, but there are many who didn’t or are still recovering from the calamities that happened in their lives. It’s time to move forward, and most important dream of better days.

I really wish I could remember my dreams. I am sure there have been some real whack jobs; chances are I am very wealthy, am in incredible shape, and can fly—also I probably found my locker and am not in school naked. What a relief.

The photo above was taken during the pandemic. The store front that is behind the sign is for Garrett’s popcorn. If you have been there you know it’s really good and premium priced. The best part is, if you eat a lot it’s really good for you and has no calories. In other words, “I must be dreaming!”

Thanks for stopping by.
